Our Story
Trulies Divine Desserts is the product of two hard-working sisters who love to bake and be creative together! It all started years ago when we would enter 4-H baking competitions at the Hood River County Fair as kids. After high school, Julie went on to culinary school to become a pastry chef, though life, as it often does, took her down a different path. But our passion for feeding people good food never seemed to dull.
In 2010 Trulie’s (Trisha and Julie name mash-up) was born as a “side gig” and has grown into a full time passion. Over the last ten years, we have worked hard to be a reliable, fun and delicious option for Gorge-goers in need of quality desserts. Good food makes people happy. It can soothe a soul, be part of a celebration, a friendly get together or re-kindle a fond memory. Who wouldn’t want to be part of that?
My Mission.
I want to create divine, unique and delicious desserts for everyone and every occasion. I firmly believe that everyone deserves sweet treats, even those with dietary restrictions. For that reason, we have gluten free, dairy free and egg free options on most of my bakes! Most importantly though, I just want to create desserts that make people happy.
